Dixon's Typhonite Eldorado 10 Pencil Presentation Set Art Deco VGC Scarce
This could be anything from a retail display piece, a gift box set that was distributed internally at the Dixon company or just an everyday retail item.
Textured material over a hard cover case - with a tipped in / affixed "Harkness Memorial" drawing art. One of the two affixed black panels on the inside cover feature the gold ink stamped text - and below it examples of ten different grades of Dixon's pencils - that are firmly held in place with black string. Showing barely any signs of wear and handling consistent with its age. The wide spine has minor crush creasing. Elsewhere, no folds, creases, tears or loss. Very clean and like new throughout - even the paint on all of the pencils id glossy. Overall, very well constructed and in very good condition. Will display well in your collection. Closed, it measures approx. 5" x 8 1/2"
