This snare drum is B-Stock unit displayed as a Floor Demo. It may have been lightly played by customers, under careful supervision of the staff.
It is considered "B-Stock" because of minor cosmetic imperfections in the chrome plating (see last pictures).
These "B-stocks" units are a true bargain.

About the Acro Copper Snare Drum:

The Ludwig 14x6.5 Acro Copper Snare Drum (LC654BM) features a seamless beaded 1mm copper shell with rolled 45 degree bearing edges, 10 double-ended Twin/Bowtie lugs, 2.3mm steel triple-flange hoops, P86C throw-off, P35 butt plate, Ludwig 18-strand snare wires, Remo Coated Ambassador batter drumhead with Ludwig USA logo, Remo Hazy Ambassador snare side drumhead with Ludwig USA logo, brushed copper finish chrome hardware, and Ludwig Keystone badge. 

This Acro Series Copper Snare Drum has the darkest timbre quality any metal alloy has to offer. It resonates with the control of a wood snare while offering the presence you expect from a metal drum.
