Here is a varied and attractive group of British offshore island stamps from Lundy and Stroma, with a block of 25 unmounted mint puffin stamps, a cancelled pair of Lundy stamps and Lundy and Stroma Europa or strike post covers. The sheet of 25 is unmounted mint, folded once horizontally and with minor separation of perforations on one stamp. The Lundy pair has corner damage affecting both stamps. The Lundy FDC has minor edge and corner wear from postal handling.

The Lundy Europa FDC has the British Europa set of 1961 on the front and overprinted Lundy Millennial/Europa stamps on the back. It is postmarked Dec. 8 1961 and is not a Royal Mail first-day usage.

The Stroma cover bears a set of six fish stamps overprinted and revalued for the 1971 postal strike. The stamps are tied by a large double circle "The Great Post Office Strike" hand cancel of Jan 20 without a year date. The strike, of course, took place in 1971 just as decimalisation was starting.

A varied and attractive Lundy, Stroma, offshore island, strike post, wildlife and Europa group. This group has been relisted at a reduced price. I do not relist items indefinitely but return them to my show stock.

The postage costs on this item are higher than I would like and, after leaving them unchanged for several years, I have raised them slightly in line with the October 2023 postage rates. British buyers will pay $1.60 postage.

As I have some fixed-price items anyone who purchases one of my lots might want to look at them before paying. Additional postage is free for subsequent purchases unless they are too big for my normal very low basic rates. If you are buying more than one item please wait for me to send an invoice so I can combine postage.

When payment for lots won is received by teatime British time (it is usually dished up about 4:30) I normally post the item the next morning. Our village post office is closed on Saturdays, however, so if you pay on Friday the item cannot go out until the following Monday.
