I have here for sale a book entitled BIGGLES COMRADES IN ARMS by CAPTAIN W.E.JOHNS. This FIRST edition by HODDER & STOUGHTON was published in 1947. Illustrated by Stead.  With coloured frontispiece plus 6 two toned double page illustrations. It has its' original dust jacket. 

Bound in blue linen boards. Gilt title lettering on the spine and front board. The boards are a little tone, light shelf wear evident only on the board edges.  Boards are firm. The dust jacket is rubbed along the edges and folds and chipped on the corners, with loss to a small section on the spine area, price intact, some staining - please see photos. The book has an inscription, some spotting on the fore-edges but the pages remain clean and bright.  The book is in good + condition,  tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 227pp ; 20cm x 14cm.

Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. 

To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :)
