The heat concentrator was used on any gas stove, kerosene stove, electric hot plate or other place where the ACE FURNACE OR ELECTRIC LADLE was unavailable. The concentrator cost 26.7 percent as much as the ACE FURNACE so it was probably a good thing for some folks. I do not know how many sets like this were made and sold, but I have never seen another in over 30 years of collecting.
The set is dated by the NRA logo which was in effect in 1937 and struck down by the Supreme Court in that year.
