Decorative buttons on front sides of vest are wood; functional buttons to close the vest are knit covered with embroidered accents.

Bottom edge of vest has knitted 2" fringe dangles every few inches; each dangle is topped with a wood sequin and a wooden bead (none are missing or damaged).

Because of the wood bead and button accents, the care instruction label indicates: "Do not dry clean.  Hand wash inside out. Cold water only. Do not soak, do not wring or twist. Do not bleach.  Bock to shape and lay flat to dry."  Care instructions are in English and French.
