Nubian Pyramid Connector Kit

For use with 1/2" Type M copper pipe

  Offered is one 5 piece set of semi-flexible plastic connectors and apex for constructing a 72° angle Nubian pyramid. The slope angle of this style pyramid structure is much steeper than the 51° 51” Giza style pyramid and considered by some more powerful. 

    Save money by buying your own copper pipe (1/2" ID Type M copper pipe) from a hardware store such as Home Depot. Some adjustment to other brands of pipe may be necessary if used. There may be slight dimensional differences even with the recommended brand pipe. It is suggested to take one base fitting to the store and verify pipe fit prior to purchasing the pipe. There will be no pipe sent with these fittings.

The pictures provided are for pictorial demonstration only- no pipe for construction or finished pyramid will be supplied.

    Depending on the size of the pyramid you want to construct (any size pyramid may be constructed) the lateral edge that starts from the base tip to the apex/cap tip and is calculated using a Phi ratio of 1.6935 multiplied by the base length. 

(For example if your desired base is 12" square you would multiply 12" X 1.6935 = 20.322" Inches – (round this number to 20 3/8” for ease of measurement) 

From this calculation you will need 4 pieces of ½” copper pipe 20 3/8” (rounded for ease of measurement) long and 4 pieces of ½” copper pipe 12" long. 

    Before you run out and cut some pipe there is an additional set of steps required when using these particular fittings to obtain an accurate pyramid structure as shown in the detail pictures. These are as follows:

 1. Take each calculated base length (12”) of copper pipe and subtract 3 1/2” from the initial 12” base piece then cut to this length. 

This will provide four base pieces with an actual finished length of 8 ½” each.

2. Take each calculated lateral piece (20 3/8”) and subtract 5.49” – (round to 5 1/2” for ease of measurement.) 

This will provide four lateral pieces with an actual finished length of 14 7/8.

    The adjustments of the pipe lengths detailed above allow for an exact, very accurate pyramid construction that will account for the added material of the base fittings and the apex piece height. This centers the calculated geometric lines of the pyramid to the construction material center line(s).

   The fittings for this pyramid are a press/slide fit for assembly and are very stable without gluing them permanently in place. This design eliminates set screws to tighten the pipe to the fittings and still allows for dismantling your pyramid for movement when desired. If a permanent structure is required, one may use “GOOP” brand adhesive or similar adhesive to fix the pieces permanently in place.

               Please note: These fittings do not provide for pipe interconnection to one another for a full conductive circuit.

In addition to the above, there are several added design features that are contained within this set of fittings: 

 - An ability to place legs or extensions into the bottom of each base fitting will allow the user to elevate the pyramid to a chosen height while maintaining the pyramid angles and lines. (no pipe is provided for this function)

 - Alternatively, added extensions can be placed into the ground to anchor the pyramid against wind or other disturbances that may move it around when used outdoors. 

- The base fittings can be used as cross member support extensions for any pyramid size that needs cross support structure due to size and to eliminate possible pipe sagging. (additional set(s) of fittings will need to be purchased for this function)

- The apex has a removeable capstone with a hidden chamber below to place an object within such as a crystal, shungite, miniature tensor ring, or anything else that fits and suits your need.
