Our Story

​​​​​​​Yesteryear Essentials is a local, independent family run antiques store in Los Angeles, CA. It was established in 2011 by me (Pearse) and my wife (Sinead).

Every weekend we can be found at local estate sales, auction houses and flea markets searching for unique art, quality antiques and interesting collectibles to add to our store.

Whether you are looking to enhance your home decor or are an avid collector, we try to have something wonderful in stock for everyone.

We accept payment by any of the following methods:

Please pay as soon as possible after your purchase, as that will allow us to ship your item to you sooner!

All purchases are shipped within 24 hours of payment with tracking and full insurance.

Purchases are gift wrapped, incredibly well protected with high quality packaging materials and reinforced corrugated boxes.  

Pick Up Only Items must be collected within 14 days of purchase.

In the very unlikely event that your item is lost or damaged during post, then WE are responsible and will issue a full refund. We just kindly ask for your co-operation providing photos and/or a statement for the insurance.

IMPORTANT NOTE: International buyers are responsible for any and all customs charges, taxes and additional postal fees. Some packages may be delayed in customs.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping, and asked to provide delivery confirmation, insurance and tracking for item. Refund will be issued upon safe receipt of item.
