Kuyper was a theologian from the Netherlands and served as Prime Minister for four years in the early 1900s.  He wrote De Leer Der Verbonden ("The Doctrine of Covenants") shortly after leaving office.  It's looked upon as an important theology when considering Kuyper's desire to create a central church for his countrymen, though his ideals and other established Christian churches were never brought to one point.  Kuyper's writings were a series of arguments for his belief. The book itself is quite rare and in its current condition I have priced it fairly.
