We had a MKIV combo in for repair and the customer asked if we could get him a new logo.
His particular logo was fitted to Boogie amps & combos from the MKII, MKIII & MKIV ranges.
We contacted Boogie who said 'sorry, we don't make them anymore, try the guy on eBay.
I looked at these and we weren't completely happy with the quality.
So, we decided to make some ourselves. We were then asked to make other obsolete Mesa Boogie logos and this is the latest we've been asked for. It was used for a number of years on various models. Please see the sizes below and compare to your amp so you get the correct size.
These are identical in size to the originals but made from 1.6mm brushes stainless steel.
They have then had the Boogie logo applied in relief; mat black in 2 thick precision layers with an Ultra-Violet printer which cures the ink as it's put down making it rock-hard. This gives an embossed effect to the logo which is really cool.
