This small ultrasonic levitation device can effortlessly levitate foam balls. Operating at 40KHZ in the air, it captures light mass objects with a diameter of 2-3MM, such as foam balls and tiny objects, suspending them stably in the air for an extended period with slight heating of the main board.

The circuit mainly consists of 1 microcontroller, 1 driver chip, and 2 ultrasonic transmitter heads. It is designed for learning and understanding ultrasonic standing wave levitation, making it suitable for students or DIY electronics enthusiasts.

Working Principle

The ultrasonic standing wave levitation operates by constantly superimposing the transmitter wave and the reflected wave at a certain distance (resonant cavity distance), forming a standing wave. The object at the standing wave node overcomes the force of gravity, achieving the effect of levitation.
