VTG 1950s Black and Gold Ceramic Lion Figurine Statue Lane And Co Pottery? 18.5”.

This is a beautiful ceramic lion in nice used condition!! There are a few minor paint chips on his mane, the paint is cracking in a some areas (surface cracks only) and the paint is pitted along his back and shoulders ~ all noted in photos. Also, it does not sit level. His back left leg and right front leg are not even. Regardless, this is a wonderful old piece. I am not certain but my research leads me to believe this is a piece from Lane & Co. Pottery and made in the 1950’s or 1960’s. This majestic lion has beautiful green sequin eyes, a gold tone chain stretching from his mane to his right front foot and measures approximately 18.5” long, 4” wide and 8.5” tall. His issues are minor in comparison to his beauty!! He is sure to make a wonderful addition to your collection or decor!! Please refer to photos for condition. They are part of my description.
