Custom made in the USA XBST Extremeblaster Short series internal resonated muffler fitting Yamaha Bolt model years 2015-2023 (see last photo SCR950 with upward bend message me for this bend). Optional Internal baffle (see below) is removable for full open pipe operation and also contains a plug for added rumble and quieter operation that is easily removed for greater exhaust flow and less back pressure. The XBST Extremeblaster excels as a top end pipe baffled for good low end response and mid-range and has great classic tone. The XBST like other Extremeblaster designs has a 3) stage baffle system. The first stage fixed internal baffle in the base price unit delivers a rumbling tone with less distortion then a non resonated pipe. The optional second stage can be installed to quite down the pipe considerably and operates without the need of a fuel controller or power commander. The third stage plug in the baffle can be removed for added top end horsepower and still maintains enough back pressure not to warrant a fuel controller. It is recommended to get the removable baffle for the Yamaha bolt without a ECU reflash or fuel controller. Throttle response and acceleration suffer some without the removable baffle along with some popping due to lean fuel conditions. Pipe is much louder and deeper without it and does very well with ECU reflashes like Ivans etc. If aftermarket filters are installed the baffle is a must without reflash or fuel controller due to lack of throttle response and acceleration. Pipe is available in all black powder coat finish. Chrome pipe with red, black or chrome interior slash is available for $15 more. This internal resonated pipe delivers a rumbling tone with less distortion that is not obnoxiously loud as a small open non resonated pipe.

Performance options:

1) Stock filter/stock ecu - Can run it open pipe (will get some popping) however removable baffle recommended for best performance (throttle response, acceleration)

2) K&N filter/stock ecu - Cannot run without removable baffle (with center plug intact) running too lean performance suffers too much.

3) K&N filter/ecu reflash or fuel controller (Ivans/power commander) Can run open pipe for max performance without removable baffle

This powder coating type is designed for optimum performance in harsh environments specific to motorcycle exhaust and other high temperature applications in outdoor environment. It has superior heat and corrosion resistance and has been tested to automotive specifications and meets or exceeds standards of performance for exhaust and muffler coatings. Heat resistance in excess of 1100 degrees and continuous testing for 48 hours at 800 degrees show this coating to hold its color, gloss and physical integrity at this service temperature. It should be noted this motorcycle exhaust should not exceed 500 degrees.This coating exceeds specifications for salt spray resistance testing. No blistering or rusting from scribe after 120 hours continuous testing. Passed a full battery of corrosion performance tests for automotive applications.
