An original WW2 USAAF AERIAL PHOTOGRAPH which records an ongoing BOMBING RAID on GROSSETO AERODROME on May 20th 1943. EXPLOSIONS ARE CLEARLY VISIBLE.

Another mission the month before had caused little damage, but this raid completely destroyed the aerodrome. 

Measures approximately 18cm x 13cm.
