First Edition. Hardcover. Size: 23 x 22 cms. 20pp. Adorned with beautiful poems and sepia coloured pictures that accompany the six chromolithographic wheels, each with changing pictures and a ribbon tab. All movables in tact, although a few with some small tears not affecting images.

Original chromolithograph pictorial boards, illustrating what looks to be like a boy and a girl playing doctor. A wonderful example of an early illustrated children's books from the Victorian Era. Generally rubbed and bumped at the corners. The front hinge is cracked, previous owner's stamp on front free endpaper, book is slightly cocked. Overall, a very good copy of a an early movable children's book, usually found in poor condition.
