“Black Minorca” is a vintage 1950s Athos Menaboni print.  Athos Menaboni (1895-1990) was born in Italy but lived most of his life in the southern United States.  He is known for his beautifully detailed and lifelike renderings of birds.  During his sixty year career he is credited with painting over 150 species of American birds.

“Black Minorca” is 12" x 9" and is in good condition with some small tears and creases, especially on the right side of the print.  Framing would cover the imperfections on the edge.  It is printed on a beautiful cotton-linen paper, with clear bright color.
