On offer is a vintage Storage Jar decorated with the Bakewell pattern, made in stoneware by Denby Pottery Derbyshire, England, between 1980-1987.
The Bakewell pattern is a bold stylised floral design, produced using
a wax resist method, set on a dark brown glaze.
Stoneware is a process where the surface is fully vitrified and is made glassy and non-porous, this gives strength, durability, and chip resistance. It is also dishwasher and microwave safe.

Thank You - For Looking
As there is widespread confusion about the difference between chips, nicks, hairlines, or cracks. Here is how we see it:
A nick is a tiny bit of damage smaller than 1mm and a chip is something you can see with the eye; a hairline runs over the surface glazing but not the body of the item and a crack runs through the body of the item, usually weakening its structure.
Returns: Due to flaws mentioned in the listing will not be accepted.
