The uppers are in fantastic condition, which is great because I have these exact boots and the sides completely ripped apart from the soles from hiking in the snow and not properly caring for the goretex. That said, I recommend caring for the goretex using the kit sold by Lowa to ensure these last a long time into the future.

The heels have a lot of wear but I recommend just cutting that part off from the rest of the tread
