This rare pair of 1930's Art Deco slip shade is fabulous in its simplistic Art Deco design. The lights were made by the Gill Glass Lighting Company in 1938. The glass slip shades have the silver ring around the shade and the ceiling canopies are wonderfully decorated with a gallery bezel. Both of these lights are in outstanding condition. The shades are mottled gold with a luster finish, look closely to photos with lights off to really see the shades. 10 3/4" long ( drop from ceiling)
8 1/2" wide
5 1/2" diameter shade
5 1/4" diameter ceiling mount
It has been completely rewired with a UL Listed socket, tested and is ready to hang.
This light takes one standard medium base light bulb. The light bulb is not included, but you will receive the hanging hardware for hanging in your ceiling. It will take up to a 40 watt bulb, however you may choose to use an LED bulb to keep the wattage and heat down and provide more light for your room.
The fixture has been painted and is in great condition.
