This knife is near mint to mint condition. Never sharpened, polished, or used to cut. It has been sitting in a drawer for 60+ years and is ready for a new home. The model 937 is the first version of the Waage Messer. ( Weight or Scale Knife). Of course it was
used to weigh your catch. The big ball on the end had two purposes. One was to act as a counter
balance for the scale. The second was to act as a priest to knock out or kill a fish by knocking it in
the head with the ball. Give it “last rites” so to speak.

Make me an offer!!

As you know there were two versions, One in Kilos for the the economies using Metric and one in Pounds
for the rest of us
