January 2, 1937 - Rea Irvin cover of (50 year anniversary) New Year's 1887 scene of little girl serving cake to a bearded older man. Issue includes autobiographical Sinclair Lewis piece "That Was New York, And That Was Me,"Robert Benchley piece "Why We Laugh - or Do We?", John Mosher cinema review and more.  Vertical stress crease to the covers; light rubbing and wear at edges. Mild shelf soiling and a small sticker shadow front cover. G++ $15

February 27, 1937 - Adolph Kronengold cover of winter nocturne - people walking on a park path by a road along the Hudson. Issue includes book review of Steinbeck classic Of Mice and Men, A. J. Liebling profile of Broadway lyricist Otto Harbach, John O'Hara story "By Way of Yonkers," and more. Light wear to the exterior edges. Number marked faintly in pen to the front cover; archival paper tape reinforcing the spine. G++  $17.5

April 17, 1937 - Rea Irvin cover: a woman unmasks a man at a masquerade ball and finds the same face under the mask. Issue includes Henry Anton Steig profile of big band great Benny Goodman, James Thurber piece "Men, Women, and Dogs," John O'Hara story "Peggy," and more. Light patina of soiling to externals; binding staples lightly rusted. VG-  $25

April 24, 1937 - Peter Arno cover of rich woman in red polka dot dress standing out from her black and white husband and the grey men around her. Issue includes Ogden Nash poem "Where is My Wandering Mind Tonight,"  "The Kinnehorrah" by Jerome Weidman, Robert Benchley theater review of "Babes in Arms," E. B. White and more. Light shelf rubbing edges and a short archival tape mend base of spine. VG-  $22.5 

June 12, 1937 - Adolph Kronengold cover of apartment dwellers gardening on their terrace. Issue includes E. B. White piece "My Physical Handicap, Ha Ha," Clarence Day story "Father Puts Mother on Horseback," book review of H. G. Wells "The Croquet Player," cinema review by John Mosher, and more. Faint ownership ink stamp of the Oregon State University top edge of the cover along with a numeral label. Light rust to binding staples. Center most leaf loose from the staples. Good only $15

July 24, 1937 - Arnold Hall cover of a rainy lighting cloud ruining a picnic. Issue includes a vivid back cover Lucky Strike advertisement with Gary Cooper, Frank Sullivan piece "The Cliche Expert Testifies on Literary Criticism," and more. Faint vertical crease to the back cover. Top most binding staple has no internal hold on the pages. Light wear and stress to cover edges. Good only $10

July 31, 1937 - Will Cotton cover of regatta on the Hudson, but with a saucy gay subtext, it would appear. Issue includes John O'Hara story "No Sooner Said," E. B. White piece "Preposterous Parables III: The Family Which Dwell Apart," Edmund Wilson "Dream Poetry," and more. Light handling wear to the exteriors and mild shelf bump bottom front corner. August 14, 1937 - Helen E. Hokinson cover of a woman having a day at the beach with her dog tests the water. Issue includes John O'Hara story "Price's Always Open," James Thurber piece "There's No Place Like Home," and J. Mosher movie review of eventual Best Picture winner "The Life of Emile Zola," and more. Light shelf wear to the spine and mild stressing to covers. VG $30

September 18, 1937 - Rea Irvin cover of postman sitting on a park bench feeding the pigeons. Issue includes  Emily Hahn Reporter at Large "Trip to Nanking" where she recounts meeting Ghandi, poetry by John Holmes, Liebling profile of Tim Mara and more. Light rubbing and wear edges; mild ripple/wrinkle to front bottom edge of the first handful of pages. G++  $13.5

October 30, 1937 - Robert Day cover of a salesman yawning in front of the yawning bonnet of his demo vehicle at the car show. This is an automobile show edition with a plethora of car advertisements. Issue includes F. P. Adams poem "World's Fair Ode," S. Sackville-West piece "Recollections of My Mother - V", J. Mosher cinema review, and more. Pronounced storage wave top spine corner and light rubbing edges; contents clean and bright. G+ $15

November 27, 1937 - Thanksgiving Issue. Helen E. Hokinson cover of uptown socialite attempting the pumpkin pie while her domestic staff look on with alarm. Issue includes E. B. White piece "Small Thanks To You," Letter from London by Genet, John Mosher cinema review of Fred Astaire's "Damsel in Distress," and more. Light handling wear to the exteriors and a short closed split to the cover base of spine. VG- $25
