Antique, hand colored original 1637 map of Norfolk England by Christophore Saxton and William Kip showing the division of the Hundreds of Norfolk titled: 

"Norfolciae comitatus quem oli Iceni Inscderunt Continens in Se opida Mercatoria XXVI Pagos et villas DCXXV. Una cum singulis hundredis et fluminibus in codem Auctore Christophore Saxton, William Kip Sculpsit".

Map is a hand colored original copper plate engraving print from the 1637 edition of Camden's "Britannia", London, 1637 and is in very good condition, showing crease fold down the middle from where it was original bound into the aforementioned book as well as some toning from age. Map is in a doublesided glass frame so that the other side of the map leaf with antique text can also be viewed.

Entire piece including the frame measures approximately 17 1/8 x 13 1/2 inches. Map itself by sight, or by the borders of the plate pressing measure approximately 15 1/16 x 10 9/16 inches.
