Short for 'Radically Enhanced Interface', this modification outputs a near-perfect image via it's component connectors; also known as Y/Pb/Pr or Color Difference. Used on just about all HDTVs & monitors; this is as close to pure RGB as possible. The picture is simply astounding; shades & hues are more vibrant, sprite edges are sharper, and the colors are closer to what the SNK programmers envisioned.
This unit's 8-Pin DIN connector (AV jack) has been left untouched, so you will have 100% compatibility with ALL existing cables & accessories that were produced for the platform. When using the SCART/EuroConnector/Japanese 21-Pin interface for RGB/Sync operation (including upscalers, such as the XRGB & OSSC devices) this is of utmost importance; otherwise, you'll be left without an image. Our systems retain all of their original functionality, sacrificing nothing.
All of our units are calibrated to extract the BEST POSSIBLE signal (both audio & video) from the circuit board. This particular system has the following enhancements:
• Component Video Output (this is the clearest signal available next to pure RGB. Must be seen to be believed. Rivals that of a MVS Arcade Cabinet.)
• S-Video Output (this GREATLY enhances the Neo's video signal; one of the best analog connections available. If your looking for a sharp visual image, look no further!)
• Composite Video/RCA Yellow (no more proprietary cables!)
• Stereo Left/Right Output (this gives the system TRUE Stereo sound without the need for Y-adaptors & dongles running to the front panel of your machine!)
• GREEN Reset Power LED (since the Neo Geo lacks any form of power indicator, it's added so you know when the unit is on. The glow illuminates thru the whole reset button; looks OEM!)
• Uni-Bios 4.0 Upgrade w/Socket (This is the most wanted gizmo for the Neo Geo AES/NGH System! Created by Razoola, this is the ULTIMATE bios; de-throning the Debug Bios. Contains an elaborate cheat engine, along with a Music Player! There is so much to this bios, you'll be amazed. If you own an original/unfixed version of Samurai Shodown 5 Special, the fatalities will be unlocked thanks to this upgrade)
• System: POOR to SO-SO (major blemishes/markings to the top & bottom shells; bottom shell has a small rectangular & circular cut-out above the power jack; see attached photo)
• Joystick: OK to VERY GOOD (minor blemishes/markings to the top & bottom joystick shell)
• Power Supply: GENERIC
