The
RX 460 is a more budget friendly AMD graphics option for running up to 3
displays in Mac OS High Sierra up through Catalina. It is the same GPU
as the Radeon Pro 460 used in various Macbook Pro models, and is more
powerful than the Radeon Pro 555 used in some later Macbook Pro models.
It is about equivalent in performance to the Radeon HD 5870 graphics
card that came as an option in the 2010 Mac Pro, but with significantly
less power consumption and heat output.
In
addition to providing sufficient performance for light gaming, video,
and photo editing, it also has full support for Metal, DirectX 12, and
Vulkan API's, making it compatible with the latest Mac OS versions and
