Description

 Rare Kutani ware okimono porcelain figure of Daikoku god dancing with a drum (ko-tsuzumi) and a minogame long tail turtle. 

Antique Japanese Meiji period hand-painted Kutani porcelain figure. The piece represents Daikokuten, the syncretic Japanese deity of fortune and wealth. He is portrayed as a smiling man with a rotund belly, playing a drum (Ko-Tsuzumi) and standing - possibly  dancing - and a minogame turtle holding on to his hat; a collectible Okimono porcelain ware.

Condition: a tiny nibble on the drum (see photo) otherwise perfect.
