PIERCED
Pierced in the form of a pretty panelled doyley this delightful silver
plated vintage cake stand with its super pierced decoration was made by Mappin
and Webb of London and Sheffield. It is 24cm. in diameter which affords room
for an individual cake or a flurry of delicious small fancies. The piece is
raised on a neat round foot.
In very good structural condition without split but there are very fine
surface scratches from age and service which can be seen when tilted in some
lights.
Displays well.
