"DEWDROPS with STAR"

This exquisite glass cheese dish is a true gem for any collector of Early American Pattern Glass. Made by Campbell Jones around 1877, this round dish features a clear color and a beautiful pressed glass production style. Its elegant design will make it a perfect addition to any dishware collection, while its historical value will make it a conversation starter at any dinner party. The dish is perfect for serving your favorite cheeses and will add a touch of vintage charm to any table setting.

“DEWDROPS with STAR” is a sparkly fabulous pattern by Campbell Jones, ca. 1877, just after the centennial of the American Declaration of Independence, the reason for the gorgeous center star on the dish.

This is one of the largest pieces of EAPG covered flat pieces made.

The plate is 11" in diameter and with the lid on, it is 8" tall.

The dome is in perfect condition. The dish has tiny chips on the rim scallops, two are visible, others detectable by touch, some roughness and flea bite chips. Doing my best to be accurate, no guarantees. It is almost 150 years old, after all. Returns accepted.
