Presenting a Well Crafted Bohemian BEER SERVING SET, featuring an etched Child upon a Keg, known as the "Child of Munich" and a symbol associated with the Bavarian OKTOBERFEST Celebration....
This well conditioned 144 year old drinking set features the blown pontil ewer vessel (measuring 14 3/4" tall X 6 1/2" wide, at widest) plus (6) matching Pilsner Glasses (measuring 6 3/4" tall X 3" wide, at widest - 15oz).
The ewer is engraved with a banner which reads "TRINKE BIER ABER SAUF NICHT DISPUTIR ABER RAUF NICHT" (which roughly translates to " DRINK BEER BUT DON'T ARGUE.. OR DON'T DRINK")..
The finely embossed pewter lid is dated "1880" and appears to be a gift from "Baum" to "Hauser"...
The condition of each piece remains near flawless really.. a few tiny scratches to the whole lot, but this is about all!!
Amazing really.. Excellent condition all around with no chips, cracks, interior hazing discolorations, flea bites, cracks at the handle or other damages present.
All cut from crystal clear blanks, this is just an excellent addition to your vintage beer collection indeed!

I do, however, require that the item be returned in no more than 30 days following arrival and be returned in original condition.
