Made sometime in the 1960s this set of 6 Perspex crystal models would’ve been used as teaching aids in science classes in schools and colleges. 

Very popular with Geologists, crystallographers, Crystal lovers/collectors, also used just as decorative items and interesting scientific models the set has six different shapes, cube, octahedron, pentagonal, rhomboid,  dodecahedron, pyramids Trigonal Trapezohedron et cetera. 

Inside the crystal shapes are metal rods running through a central hub to indicate the internal dimensions of the crystals, these are painted red or blue.
