Offered is a book titled "Verve, Revue Artistique et Literaire",  edited and copyright  by Verve, Rue Verou 4,  Paris.

This book was originally published by Draeger on January 15 1953 in France as a double Number of Verve , 27-28,
under the direction of Tetiade. It was printed on the presses of the master printers Draeger Freres, who were responsible for the typography and heliogravure.
The lithography was printed by Mourlot Freres.
This edition has been translated by Serge Hughes.

Copywrite by Reynal & Company Inc. 1959.

The book offered is incomplete as it misses lithographs from eg.  Chagall, Miro.

However has lithographs/ prints of Fernand Leger,  Georges Braque, Henri Matisse, Andre Masson, Bores, Gromaire and many interesting and unique images of example Alberto Giacometti, Picasso, Monet, Rembrandt, Vincent van Gogh, Picasso as well as, Andre Derain and Rauoult. 

This book complete sells at Auctions of specialized bookstores for US $ 3000.-- and more.
As this book is incomplete and still a collectors book, it is available for a price, many more serious collectors can use this book as a reference.

There are several original Lithographs present. Lithographs by Fernand Ĺéger,  George Braque, Andre Masson,  

The cover depicts a lithograph by Braque and both front and back cover by Braque are in good condition. The spine somwhat affected ( photo 4), but still well attached to the cover pages. Inside  pages and lithographs are in good to very good  condition. No hand written remarks, no browing of pages or images despite the fact that this edition is over 70 years old. 
Size: 10"1/2 x 14"1/4 tall ( 26.7 cm x 35.6 cm).

In total this book has in total 128 pages of the 156,  excl. the cover.

There are so many pictures, incl of colored photographs glued onto the pages, like works from Monet  but also works from Picasso, Giacometti, Bores, Gromaire,  Rembrandt, Vincent van Gogh.
