Antique pillowcase of smooth white linen with a pretty design of hand embroidered & cutwork florals, a scalloped border & machine bobbin lace trim. 

This was originally a sham but it’s later had a cotton backing (a bit of a patchwork of pieces) machine sewn onto it to turn it into a pillowcase. 

Good vintage condition & a nice white but the cotton lace has some fraying along the edges. 

Overall measurement approx 82 cm x 58 cm (32 in x 23 in). 

Internal measurement approx 66 cm x 40 cm.
