This is an exquisite collection of two Chinese paintings on pith paper. The paintings are rich in Asian culture and depict scenes of torture and punishment. The pieces are antique originals and are estimated to be from the 19th century. The paintings are made of pith rice paper and have a multi-color appearance that gives them a unique and captivating look. They are a great addition to any collection of Asian art or collectibles. The paintings are from China and are perfect for those who appreciate the rich cultural history of the region. There are 2 torture paintings from China.  They have the Matte border but do not have frames. As seen in the last picture, one of the matte border, is wrinkled in corner.  As seen in the painting, because they are extremely old and delicate, there is some damage to the paper.  The torture paintings measure approximately 12 X 7 1/4 and with Matte border, 20 X 16.  They will be protected with a clear bag protecting cover for shipping purposes. This is just a temporary covering until framed.  Please view all pictures thoroughly.  Selling as found "as is".
