Offered for sale is an album containing 30 United States Postal Service medallions, commemorating important events in USPS history. These medals were available from the nation's first Postique at the Memphis, Tennessee post office. Medals were made in 3 types, antique bronze, antique nickel silver (0% silver), and pure silver (.999 fine). The pure silver medals were produced in limited quantities, typically 1500 to 2000 coins each, though a few, such as the President Carter medal, saw production of up to 7000 medallions.

I don't know the total number of different medals that were produced, but there are 30 in the padded album, with space for 36. Only the first (the one with the USPS logo) is of antique bronze composition (the pure silver version was a quick sellout). The other 29 are pure silver (.999 fine), each weighing 1.0 troy oz. They should all be marked on the rim with their individual serial number and the .999 fine silver designation. Many of the coins have some degree of toning. I have info cards for 25 of the medallions which serve as a sort of coa. Also included is an order form for the first 4 medals offered (paper has foxing stains).
