ORIGINAL 1942 WORLD WAR TWO - 1942 WW2 WORKING AT PEARL HARBOR - CARDSTOCK WINDOW ID CARD. Card came from the U.S. Navy Yard, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and was sent to families of civilian workers at Pearl Harbor who were working to repair damaged ships and keep the war effort. 

There was a statement released at the time of the issuance of the card: "That Force Is Busily Engaged In The Repair Of Damaged Ships To The End That Our Navy May Never Want For Ships Or Material To Do Battle. Your Son Is Doing His Part To Make Victory Sure. We Are Proud To Have Him With Us. The Enclosure Is Sent To You In Order That You May Exhibit It As A Tribute To A Man Who Is Doing His Duty In Promoting The Mission Of This Navy Yard In Support Of The Pacific Fleet.”

Window card is 7-1/4” wide x 5-1/4" wide features "Working At Pearl Harbor" and has nice graphics on front with a 5 point star in center and silhouettes of Navy ships, palm trees and dirigibles / blimps high in the sky.    

The item comes as pictured with all faults, both visible and hidden. The item has some light wear on edges and corners, along with some light overall toning. The reverse is blank with reverse image toning from printing / age. See Pics for More Details on Condition.
