I have here for sale a SCARCE set of 7 volumes  of SOUTH AFRICA AND THE TRANSVAAL WAR by LOUIS CRESWICKE. Published from 1900-1901 by T.C & E.C. JACK, Edingburgh. Originally a six volume set to which was added the seventh volume  which includes 'The Guerilla War from Feb 1901 to the conclusion of Hostilites'; and was published by The Caxton Publishing Co. in 1902. All are nicely illustrated with colour frontispiece plus a further 7 colour plates to each volume ( 56 colour plates in total) and numerous illustrations  and photos in black and white, plus maps some fold out. . A NICE SET.

Uniformly bound in cream linen boards. Black title lettering with red and black illustration of soldiers on horse back to the front boards and the spine. Boards and spines are darkened with age. Some small tears to the tops of the spine edge to a couple of the spines.  Board corners and spine ends a little bumped. Tanning to the endpapers. Scattered foxing through the volumes but generally the pages are clean and bright. 25cm x 19cm.

Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. 

To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :)
