A superb and rare image of the 500cc B.M.W. R69 and the 250cc B.M.W. Isetta minicar. The photo was made in the 1950’s.
The BMW R69 was once a very popular police mount. Off factory, it also was available with a full dustbin fairing, as photographed. These fully faired versions were very rare. Also in the photo is the famous BMW Isetta minicar. It was powered by the same 250cc BMW single cylinder engine that also was used for the BMW motorcycle singles. The ISO Isetta and the BMW Isetta were very popular minicars of the 1950’s. Like the R69, today they are very collectable.
It is a photo that will be a great tribute in the collection of any BMW enthusiast!
