1 x HOGES EL84 (6BQ5) valve / tube, rX4 V0E code, NIB, excellent condition

You are buying one HOGES EL84 (6BQ5) power pentode in excellent  working condition, made in India with etched rX4 V0E factory code (Bharat electronics LTD, Bangalore 1960 May).

The tube is in original box (the batch code 7011 is printed on the box as well).

We tested the tube on our Tesla tube tester BM215A where the “GOOD” value for EL84 begins at 25.5mA (Ug1= -12V, Eg2=250V and Ea=250V), the 100% is 42.5mA. We tested the tube at different heating voltages Uf to check the lifetime.

The heater of the EL84 is 6.3volts. It is seen that even at Uf=4V (!!) the tube scored very well over “GOOD” (25.5mA), which shows an extremely robust cathode and a very, very long lifetime.
