This auction is for one new 'flat-style' sub-woofer only, without enclosure.

This Sub-Woofer is designed and sold by Origin Acoustics as part of their install line for built-in, in-wall loudspeaker systems for cinema and audiophile applications.  This loudspeaker is unique in that it has about 1/4 the depth of a conventional loudspeaker of the same diameter. It is a replacement item for the speakers sold in their enclosures designed for installation between wall joists. It is the same woofer used in their C-SUB10R. This is a new, out of box unit, purchased for sample / evaluation.

This unit has two 4 ohm voice coils ... so it may be fed bass information from left and right channels simultaneously.

Depth behind the mounting flange is approximately 2 1/2 inches, and from back of the magnet to top of surround is approximately 3 inches.

There is presently one of these systems listed on e-Bay under e-Bay item number:166525846469 for $499 used. The system, enclosure and woofer, sell for $1700 new. We are selling this unit for $200, and we'll pay the surface shipping charges to the Domestic 48 states.
