Fabulous little 1920s art deco enamel square desk clock in green with black, red and gold Japonaise style.
The dial under curved glass is on top and mechanism to wind is under hinged interior box with black velvet lining.
The clock dial is black with gold numerals and hands and a handpainted pagoda and garden scene.
The handpainted brass enamel case of clock is green with different red and black and gold Asian scenes on 3 sides.
The 4th side of box at back of hinged opening was solid green, but has significant chip in the enamel (see pics please)
Clock stands on fancy brass feet with a wonderful dark green jadite glass carved lion's head in each corner.
Measures 3" square and 2-1/2" tall.
There are no marks or names on dial, clock mechanism, sides, anywhere except some faintly hand etched on bottom of clock
"F50 23-2"  IS THE ONLY MARKING I CAN FIND.
Except for that bad chip on back plain green side, all very good.   Dial does look faded, gold numbers faint.
Clock winds up and is working, a 30 hour clock.  I believe Swiss mechanism, perhaps made in France.
ADDITIONAL NOTE:
When I was listing clock and looked at my pictures, I noticed those tiny white dots on the crystal over the black dial.  Honestly I didn't see them until in the photos. So, I gently wiped them off, and the last 2 pictures were taken a little more than an hour later, clock still running and almost all the spots I could see are gone!
