Available for
immediate purchase is this lovely, profoundly rare, vintage 1970s, new with
some evaporation (please see photos), made in the USA, guaranteed original and authentic,
Red real parfum (perfume) splash in a generous 1-ounce (30) size by Geoffrey
Beene and distributed by the original Epocha Inc., of New York City. All photos
were taken at 40x
magnification to best highlight
overall item condition. The buyer will receive the exact item pictured.
Please note: This is NOT Red by Giorgio of Beverly Hills, which was launched in 1989. The item in this
listing is by Geoffrey Beene and is from the 1970s. It is the buyer's responsibility to understand what brand and fragrance is actually being purchased.
Launched in 1977 – with such taglines as: “It arouses the senses” and “The Whole
World Loves Red” – this fragrance was sold in upscale department stores
including Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, and Bergdorf Goodman. It stayed in circulation
until around 1980 and then unceremoniously disappeared. Today, it is extremely
difficult to find. Vintage Geoffrey Beene advertisements tout this fragrance as,
“Responding to the call of the wild, RED expresses the elemental woman. Brazenly
feminine florals like rarest rose and jasmine are dominated by lusty earth tones
like sandalwood and patchouli. Passionate. Provocative. Red causes quite a stir.”

Return
Policy
My goal is for you to be pleased with your
experience. Please contact me via eBay’s messaging system and I will take
proper care of you. To qualify for a full refund, the seller must receive the
returned item in the exact condition in which the seller originally sent the
item. Returns with usage, damage, or leakage caused by the buyer (i.e. ruined boxes
and/or labels; broken or tampered-with cording, stoppers, and/or seals) do not
qualify for a full refund. In the extremely rare instance where the seller has
reason to believe the original contents were either altered or removed/replaced
by the buyer then no refund will be provided. Buyers who abuse the return
policy or falsify item condition will be blocked from future transactions and
reported to eBay.
