AFCO lightweight extruded aluminum lowering blocks are stronger than billet. Lowering blocks act like a weight jack and put wedge into the race car. All sizes are 2-1/2" wide x 5" long with a 9/16" diameter centering pin.

Summary: Although probably obvious, the pin going into the axle housing and hole that lines up with the leaf springs are vertical. If your axel and springs are offset installation of the blocks could shift the axel forward or back.
