Here is a really lovely victorian pinchbeck & almandine garnet brooch. The brooch measures nearly two inches in diameter & all looks to be made of pinchbeck with a lovely gold colour. This brooch is really lovely with lovely early engravings all over in a pierced dome type setting & then in individual collet settings are round & oval faceted almandine garnets or similiar with their lovely natural colour, but they could be just paste, but still look good. On the back there is a pin & Cclasp working well & it dates clearly to the victorian era & just has wear as you would expect, there may be some nibbles to the stones as you would expect with age etc, but nothing that i can see tht detracts, & needs a polish, see pics. This really is a beautiful antique brooch in good origional complete condition as stated that looks really lovely worn & a nice example.
