This very nice vintage spring landscape was painted by a well known
Soviet Ukrainian artist Borymchuk Michail ( 1926 - 2013 ).
This artist is included in ‘Russian and Soviet Painters’ by British scientist Matthew Cullerne Bown. His brief biography you can read below.
This landscape was painted approximately in the 1970's.

The painting was acquired from the family of the artist Borymchuk.

CONDITION: good vintage condition.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Michail Borymchuk (1926 - 2013)
Borymchuk Michail was born in the village Popelnya of the Zhitomyr region in
1926.
In 1954 he graduated from Kyiv State Art Institute. His teachers were
V.Kostecky, I.Shtillman, G.Melikhov.
He had been a member of the National Union of Artists since 1967.
He had created numerous landscapes and portraits. He permanently participated
at the national art exhibitions.
Borymchuk lived and worked in Kyiv.
Artworks by M.Borymchuk are represented in museums, galleries and private
collections in Ukraine and abroad.
