Offered here, from the same New Orleans estate as all previously listed Battersea, Bilston boxes, is a rare porcelain and sterling needle case (Etui), most likely from the 18th century. Could be either English or French, I’m not sure. There is a hole in the bottom, right by the heel, but it doesn’t go all the way through. Not sure the purpose of it, but it’s original, not a break.

Hmmmm, just noticing what looks like an old repair. Reducing the price from $175 to $125. Still a wonderful addition to any collection.
