This is a pair of gold gilt ornate framed photographs of a class from the J.P. Hopkinson Prep school for boys. Circa 1890's. The Hopkinson Prep school prepared students for enrollment into Harvard. It was in fact one of the top prep schools in Cambridge, Massachusetts for this purpose.

John Prentiss Hopkinson is photographed here with his students in both photographs.

These were in a camp retreat for the boys in Leominster, Mass.

Photographs measure 18 x 15 inches. Photos are clear with no fading.
