Introduction and Description

 

Narcissus Daffodil has conspicuous flowers with six petal-like tepals surmounted by a cup- or trumpet-shaped corona.

The flowers are generally yellow, with either uniform or contrasting coloured tepals and corona.

Plant and Care

 

♥ Good time to plant the Daffodil bulb in Spring or Fall.
♥ Spacing bulbs 2 to 3 feet apart between 5 Bulbs Group.
♥ Prepare the garden bed and mix compost into soil in depth of 6 inches.
♥ Carefully fill in soil with the eyes of the bulbs are 5" below ground level.
♥ Tamp the soil firmly and mulch around bulbs.
♥ Water after green sprout.
♥ Apply a thin layer of compost each Spring, followed by a 2-inch layer of mulch to retain moisture and control weeds.
♥ Feed with a general purpose 10-10-10 fertilizer in early Spring and Summer.
♥ Water plants during the Spring for beautiful blooming if Weather Dry.
♥ Remove dead flower after bloom help restore energy back to bulb.
