Rarer waved weld lines, this is an absolute bargain and 1 seen this type sell for a lot more, but I do it for the love of it and wish to pass it on with minimal mark up.

This Inoue Tosuke Aogami Kamisori straight cut throat razor from the 1950s is a remarkable piece of Japanese craftsmanship. Master Tosuke is well known as one of the best Japanese kamisori makers.

It has been meticulously restored (taking many hours of care) and is now shave-ready, finished on a 16k JNAT, sharpened and stropped using a 2:3 ratio.

The razor's steel blade is made from high-quality Aogami blue paper steel, renowned for its hardness and greater edge retention and wear resistance due to the addition of tungsten and chromium to its composition. The kanji still has gold gilding.

This razor has a beautiful waved weld line, this is not a common feature and I only ever see this on the finest of his work.

A lovely piece of craftsmanship, history and a dream to use, this is one of the craziest kamisori I have ever used. It really is an outstanding blade and will be sad to see this one go.

I use kamisori for special occasions, I like the feel in the hand and the precision you get with a blade length of 45mm.

The handle has been blued to prevent rusting, crafted from premium materials, is both elegant and comfortable to hold. This vintage kamisori is a must-have for shaving enthusiasts and collectors alike.
