Vintage Brass 'Govenor' Blow Lamp Converted to a Desk Lamp

PAT tested and ready to use!

This is an early 1950’s small (33 litre/½ pint) 'Govenor' blowlamp. The Governor blow lamps were manufactured by Shaw, John & Sons Ltd (J S & S) of Wolverhampton. They made a wide range of tools, blow lamps and gas stoves from the mid 1800's up to the 1960's.

We have taken the lamp apart and sympathetically restored every component before putting back together and converting to a lamp. It has a lovely, polished brass body and fittings with perforated metal handle. It has beautiful engraving to one side, with the remains of the original decal to the other.

All components are new or refurbished. Fitted with small SBC/B15 bayonet cap bulb fitting, red pvc cord (approx. 1m) and black 13A plug. Supplied with a 4W vintage style LED candle filament lamp.

 Dimensions (without bulb):

Height: 7" (17cm)

Length: 9" (23cm)

Width: 4" (10cm)

All dimensions are approximate, please do look at the photos as they form an important part of the description.

An ideal desk lamp for that vintage industrial look, steampunk enthusiast or man cave.

This is not a toy.
