Couesnon Handmade Flute Attributed to Florentin Barbier HISTORIC COLLECTION

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Here's an early Couesnon handmade flute. Appears to be nickel silver. The former owner attributed the maker of this instrument as Florentine Barbier.

Provenance: The Nowinski Collection. Jack Nowinski was an instrument repairman and collector who spent his lifetime amassing an impressive collection of interesting instruments. We are happy to offer instruments from his collection for sale.

As this instrument is historically interesting, we have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner. Instrument will need pad and keywork to be playable.
