A. FILLING (add food coloring if you desire)

1. POUR WATER TO HALFWAY SEAM-LINE (APPROX. 1 GALLON). DO NOT FILL TO THE TOP!

FREEZE FOR 24 HOURS.

FILL TO TOP WITH COLD WATER. (WARM WATER WILL CAUSE CRACKING.)

4. FREEZE FOR ADDITIONAL 24 HOURS.

TIP: BEGIN PREPARTION 48 HOURS BEFORE PLANNED USAGE.

To make the ice crystal CLEAR BUY DISTILLED WATER, OR BOIL YOUR TAP WATER FIRST, COOL AND THEN USE IN MOLD.

ADD FOOD COLORING AND MAKE IT POP

B. DE-MOLDING (wear protective gloves, and take your time)

1. GENTLY REMOVE YOUR ICE LUGE FROM THE FREEZER. ALLOW THE MOLD TO ACCLIMATE FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 - 15 MINUTES BEFORE CUTTING THE SEAL. ICE IS SENSITIVE AND CRACKS EASILY WHEN LEAVING A FREEZE.

2. USE A UTILITY KNIFE AND/OR SCISSORS TO CUT ALONG THE SEAM OF THE MOLD.

3. GENTLY PEEL THE MOLD FROM THE ICE. ANY IMPERFECTIONS OR RESIDUE IN THE ICE MAY BE SCRAPPED SMOOTH OR BUFFED WITH A WET TOWEL. DO NOT RUN UNDER A FAUCET.

4. STRAIGHTEN OUT THE ALUMINUM AT THE END OF THE MOLD AND PULL THE ALUMINUM WIRE USING THE HANDLE OR PLIERS.

5.PULL TUBING OUT. IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO PULL AT BOTH ENDS TO RELEASE IT FROM ICE.

6.PLACE BACK INTO FREEZER, GENTLY, IF IT IS NOT BEING USED IMMEDIATELY.

TIP: PLAN AHEAD AND HAVE YOUR LUGEZ ICE LUGE PREPARED BEFORE YOUR GUESTS ARRIVE
